The safety of everyone who walks through our door is the highest priority for Hoag. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, and consistent with recent California Public Health Orders, Hoag has adopted a policy that all employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 unless a medical or religious exemption has been granted.

Some will say it’s absolutely essential to landing a job, others will tell you to ditch it and not waste your time. While it’s true most corporate recruiters don’t care about cover letters, they aren’t dead yet.
I believe cover letters are a fantastic way to tell your story in a way the resume alone can’t. That requires us to not only be creative, but to “know thyself” and get personal. Which is exactly why the cover letter is universally dreaded by most job seekers. So where did cover letters come from, and what makes for a good one?
